Posted on July 6, 2005July 6, 2005 by Chris McQuillan

Not strictly sci-fi related (work that one out), this is simply amusing. President Bush collided with a local police officer and fell during a bike ride on the grounds of the Gleneagles…

Stargate Atlantis: Season 2: Changes Part 1

Posted on July 1, 2005July 1, 2005 by PsychoFish

I’m sure Rob’s still planning to go ahead with his Atlantis article, so think of this as more of a companion piece.

As you will be aware, if you’ve bothered to check out the ‘Staff’ section, I’m ‘Sci Fi Heaven’s Resident Stargate Expert.’

No.

Really.

So, Stargate: Atlantis Season 2 is on it’s way in. And guess what? I’m looking forward to it. But, I’m not going to spoil much, I’m just going to tackle this in broad brush strokes.

REVIEW: Firefly, The Complete Series

Posted on April 13, 2004August 13, 2005 by Chris McQuillan

The cancellation of Firefly was, in my opinion, a terrible mistake. And really, it was the network’s fault, not the show’s. Any show that is aired out of order on the Friday night “death-slot” is almost certainly doomed to failure. It is a huge shame this show ended prematurely, it had so much potential. The premise was interesting, the characters involving and the effects impressive. The final product was one that was extremely enjoyable to watch and even addictive.
