Marc Webb to direct Spider-Man reboot

Posted on January 20, 2010January 20, 2010 by Chris McQuillan

Well, that didn’t take long.

Just after kicking out the entire production team from the last trilogy, Sony have announced that (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb will be behind the latest Spiderman movie.

It could well be that Marc Webb’s been chosen for his demonstration of ability directing younger actors in last year’s (500) Days of Summer, since the new Spidey movie seems to revolve around Peter Parker’s younger days.

Production on the movie begins later this year.
