Tom Hardy’s Star Trek Screen Test vs Nemesis Performance

Posted on July 31, 2012 by Chris McQuillan

Entertainment Weekly have shared a very interesting video, showing Tom Hardy (recently Bane in The Dark Knight Rises) during a screen test for Star Trek: Nemesis (2002).

The video begs the question: was his screen test performance better?

It is quite clearly a more vulnerable character depicted, with a great deal more layers and depth than the one which ended up in the final cut.  Hardy’s performance is, as always, beautifully delivered vocally in both, yet the screen test shows much more powerful acting in my opinion.

Which is better?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Bonus points if you can tell me which set they do the screen test in!  Jumped straight into my head from my work on the NX-01 Elite Force Mod!
