Entertainment Weekly have shared a very interesting video, showing Tom Hardy (recently Bane in The Dark Knight Rises) during a screen test for Star Trek: Nemesis (2002).
The video begs the question: was his screen test performance better?
It is quite clearly a more vulnerable character depicted, with a great deal more layers and depth than the one which ended up in the final cut. Â Hardy’s performance is, as always, beautifully delivered vocally in both, yet the screen test shows much more powerful acting in my opinion.
