Posted on July 25, 2012 by Chris McQuillan

According to the Portsmouth News, a sci-fi fan in England has had dozens of sci-fi collectibles stolen – worth up to a staggering £20,000 (or $31,000)!

The burglar made off with the memorabilia in a robbery on the 13th July, but details have only just been released.

According to the newspaper:

The raiders broke in through a back window, stealing the toys from the sci-fi film, as well as hundreds of Blu-Ray DVDs and limited edition DVD box sets.

Among the catalogue of stolen items, mostly relating to cult sci-fi and fantasy films, were the 80 figurines, a Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle DVD set, an Alien Quadrilogy alien head DVD set, Predator head DVD Set, XBox 360 console and games, a Fuji HS20 digital camera, Samsung Blu-Ray DVD player, 500 Blu-Ray DVDs, and jewellery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Rainsley at Winchester police station.
