Fringe Heads For Finish

Posted on July 25, 2012 by Chris McQuillan

It looks like the end for Fringe.

Despite fan pleas, the cult favorite appears to be heading towards a wrap.  The final half-season will kick-off in late September, and promises some kind of closure for fans.

Although John Noble’s spell-binding performances were tipped for Emmy recognition, the show didn’t receive any.

“I can’t comprehend it,” said Executive Producer J.H. Wyman, “I’m sitting in the editing room [watching Noble’s performance] and going, “˜Wow, this is incredible!'”

Another nail in the coffin for the more traditional sci-fi?  Had the show gone past its best, in your opinion?
