After months of growing talk of an upcoming Green Lantern production, the film has now received the official greenlight from Warner Brothers.
The news comes with filming only ten weeks away.
The film is rumoured to consist of some 1300 effects shots. So they may not need to film all that much when they can just invent on the PC.
Green Lantern is expected to be ready to hit our screens in the summer of 2011.
