New Robots for Transformers 4

Posted on September 14, 2012September 14, 2012 by Chris McQuillan

If you were a writer, wouldn’t you love to be able to do whatever you wanted for the Transformers 4 film?

Well, you can’t.

Because the toys haven’t been selling enough.

That’s right, apparently toy sales from Transformers 3 were down drastically since the same characters appeared in all three films (no attempt at linking it to any other factors, of course) and as a result, the new film will feature a new cast of robots.

So could it be ‘Bye bye, Optimus Prime’?

Looks that way.

The fourth film hits cinemas 27th June, 2014.

I don’t get it. Why take the most popular Transformers and throw them away Chris?
