Mac OS X Battery Life Boost


I’ve recently bought a new MacBook Air, and despite promises of colossal battery life – it really doesn’t last that long when I’m sitting browsing Safari on Wi-Fi.

To quote Aldous Snow: I thought, that ain’t right.  And I made some calls, and it turns out, it isn’t.

The Mac Observer has tested the upcoming 10.8.2 update to Mountain Lion, and it seems the boost will be pretty large.  It’s not quite the second coming of Jesus, as Gizmodo are claiming, but it is substantial.
