My, my, my, how the mighty have fallen”¦
From US Network television alongside Scott Bakula, Dominic Keating is now starring in this?!
That’s right, this year didn’t just see one production of Sherlock Holmes. Another was released, unfortunately.
Starring Dominic Keating and Gareth David-Lloyd, Holmes and Watson must face their "ultimate challenge when enormous monsters attack London.”
You really have to wonder where this stuff gets produced, and who actually finances it.
Dear Lord.

From the look of the DVD company’s website it looks like they make a nice little business from straight to DVD releases of spoofy cash in titles. What’s wrong with that? It’s no worse than the trashy monster of the week movies on SyFy. Fun. Ever heard of it? I’ll be buying the Sherlock Holmes one for the lovely Gareth David-Lloyd, I’m expecting to enjoy it a whole lot more than the plot hole ridden angst-fest that was the alleged third series of Torchwood.
Hey, don’t complain about Keating taking any job that’s offered; he has to pay his bills. Let’s hope he’s getting SAG minimum–at least–furthermore, I don’t see you writing a pilot script for him to star in…
Dominic Keating can make a comfortable living doing Star Trek conventions for the rest of time. He’s certainly of higher calibre than this. I’m certain the BBC would have parts for him that are far more challenging than depicted here.
I – as a matter of interest – am a playwright, and if Mr. Keating would like to act in any of my upcoming productions he is more than welcome to drop me a line.
