This is one of my favourite times of the year, why you may wonder? Well because Apple usually have an event around now to introduce their latest and greatest into the tech world. Last year marked the end of Apple attending Macworld, so this year we Apple geeks have to play the waiting game until Apple hold an event, and it looks like we won’t have long to wait. The latest batch of rumours from the Financial Times have Apple hiring a stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at the end of January.
As many of you may know the speculation has gone wild with all the leads pointing to the introduction of the long, long, long rumoured tablet device from Apple.
Now, I’m not going to tell you all about each and every rumour that has surfaced in regards to this device as nearly every technology blog has done this. So for those of you who don’t know about the device here is a handy link which has every rumour ever on the tablet.
One of my favourite mock ups of the mystery device has to be this one that gizmodo have created shown below;
I really love the design of this concept, it keeps with Apple’s minimalistic and sexy (yes, I called it sexy) design of all it’s other devices, I am positive apple will pull something out of the bag that is even better than this but we will just have to wait and see.
And when Steve stands on that stages and whips out the tablet at the end of January each and every one of us watching will be sucked in by his reality distortion field and we will all get our credit cards out to purchase this wonderful device.
Oh and my other favourite time of the year? When the rumour mill starts for the WWDC!
