That’s right, we’ve gone all Facebook. It’s Sci-Fi Heaven Chat (Beta).
You can now chat to other logged-in users on Sci-Fi Heaven from the bar at the bottom if you are:
1) Logged in
2) Using Firefox, Safari etc.
Currently, it doesn’t work in Internet Explorer since the Microsoft browser seems to slow down rather clumbsily and we’re looking for a way to fix that at present.
If you’re signing up for an account today in order to use the chat, it may take a while to propagate over to the new database. Again, this is something we hope to correct very soon.
