Star Trek maintains 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

Posted on April 30, 2009 by Chris McQuillan

As of today, the new Star Trek movie has maintained a perfect 100% approval rating on popular movie ratings site, Rotten Tomatoes.com.

Although guaranteed to fall as more reviews come in post-release, there are currently fifteen positive reviews of the film on the site.

Rotten Tomatoes only allows experienced and respected film critics to submit their opinions, creating a more fair and balanced selection of opinions.

Regardless of the inevitable end of universal approval, it’s another positive sign for a film which is gaining a lot of momentum and causing plenty of excitement throughout the world, among both hardcore fans and those who once loathed the word Enterprise.

If mainstream movie goers give Trek a chance, the film will be big box office. This is a stand alone film and very accessible to anyone who’s never seen “Star Trek” before.Try it! You’re going to like it.
