Just a note to say that Robert H. Justman passed away Wednesday of complications from Parkinson’s disease at 81 years of age.
One of the driving figures behind Star Trek, Robert Justman was Gene Roddenberry’s right-hand man on The Original Series. He resigned in the third season due to falling script quality, but returned to the franchise years later and was instrumental in the casting of Patrick Stewart as Captain Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
TrekToday.com have an excellent article about his life, as well as comments from Leonard Nimoy and Rick Berman.
We would all like to give our condolences to Robert’s family, and thank him for his magnificent work to the Star Trek franchise.
