Rumours about another ‘Jurassic Park’ sequel being on the way are hardly new to the Internet.
Sci-Fi Wire revealed early details way back in 2002.
In the last few weeks, it has emerged that original start Laura Dern believes progress on the movie is underway, and that she will be involved heavily in the fourth installment. Speaking to TV Guide, Dern stated:
“It’s a while away but my understanding is it’s happening and my character is very involved,” she told the magazine. “I know [director] Steven Spielberg is looking forward to [getting it together] over the next year.”
This would be the opposite of original co-star Sam Neill, who was involved in the first and third instalments. He has claimed he will not be involved in the fourth movie.
In further movement, stories are emerging that John Williams is confirmed to be working on the musical score for ‘Jurassic Park IV’, along with the latest ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Superman’ movies.
Whether anything comes of this remains to be seen; we’ve had these kind of reports before. Do we actually need another Jurassic Park movie? Feel free to leave comments and discuss.
