It seems the site gets significantly changed every few decades, years, months.
This time it was a forced change. Upgrading WordPress to 2.3.1 to boost site security and fix some bugs resulted in the Redoable theme we were using becoming impossible to use due to code errors.
However, this brought its own opportunities to tweak a site that had become a little rusty and inactive, and to replace it with something just that little bit better. As a result, Sci-Fi Heaven version 231 (or thereabouts) was launched.
It’s a more newspaper-styled version of the site, which I think is much easier on the eyes (not to mention a little different from most other sites out there!)
No doubt it’ll change in about 25 minutes to some kind of new sci-fi banking system, but we’ll see.
