Starcraft II Announced

To the utter delight of gamers worldwide, Blizzard have announced the upcoming release of the sequel to one of the best-selling games of the 90s – StarCraft.

StarCraft II appears to have already been in development for some time and is being prepared for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X.

According to WikiPedia:

It has been stated that development on the game began in 2003, shortly after Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. While there is currently no release date, the game development is in the pre-alpha stages and is “very far along and already playable in multiplayer with all three races

    I can’t wait for the release of this game. I heard a rumor that said Feb 2008. Is that right?
