News is filtering through the internet that CBS has pulled Threshold from its line-up, after a move to Tuesday night this week and a dismal ratings display.
Over at E Online, Kristin Veitch broke the news in her column.
It goes to prove the fierce nature of American television these days, and another sad blow to intellectual viewers. I know, let’s go watch someone get kicked off a reality show! That’s what works these days, folks.
Personally, I’m not going to watch more shows on FOX and CBS since they screw around with them so much. ABC seems to know how to run a show, although coincidentally they just cancelled Alias.
Aw! That sucks, i liked this show :(
It’s just started showing here in the UK, and I had enjoyed what I had seen so far. Damn.
To be fair, the companies only do what they believe is necessary to satisfy their viewers. Although I would not be surprised if “reality shows” cost significantly less than decent intellectually stimulating television.
Well, they definitely don’t. I can’t see American Idol costing the $5 million that the Atlantis premiere cost.
That pisses me off so bad – that was literally my favorite show on TV, followed by House. I hate prime time TV – and the people who make the decisions – we need to start a petition or something…
Are they going to finish season 1 in the UK!!!!!?????????
Damn them ALLLLLL!!!!!
I thought the show was fantastic!!
No. The show won’t be finished in the UK, since the UK plays no part in its production, sadly.
